The orderlies descended on you bleeding in the shower while berated on all sides by apparitions of your kids. Stroke my hair that one way there is nothing at the bottom of me. Gallant, i've become another wound for you to lick. I need the lightning in your eyes so bad. I swear i've got to have it coursing through me. Down the marble staircase and it pours itself a cup of coffee, given as of late a little too much time to think. Remember all the horny vacant people do you miss them? I miss everyone and every single thing. And i need the lightning in your eyes so bad. I swear i've got to have it coursing through me. i need the lightning in your eyes so bad. I'll come back I'll be better than you knew me. You were in the car/ So entirely mine/ Tired of your name (Sing another one)/ I was new to this/ Piss-drunk in a meadow 'Cross the ivory sands/ Stretched across the sky/ (Eat something for me) Circles in the water/ (Why'd you let me--) You were in the car/ Burned into my skin/ (Sing another one) How was i to know/ Stretched across the sky/ Piss drunk chasing fireflies (Was there any pain?)/ (Hey you cut your hair)/ I was new to this Splattered on the sidewalk/ (Why'd you let me--) Vapor on your mouth/Human porcelain/Clasp it to your chest Toss it in the river/Circles in the water/ Lost in perfect ardor Bleeding in the shower/ Silently exultant/(Why'd you let me hurt you? Why'd you let me hurt you? why'd you let me-- Need the lightning in your eyes so bad. I swear I've got to have it coursing through me. i need the lightning in your eyes so bad. I'll come back I'll be gleaming, sober, tightened, more inviting than you knew me.

I knew a man whose heart was small. He hadn't had a love at all. His words seemed wise, but his smile was dull. His eyes were searching through the crowd. He had a dream not long ago, but fate had taken on its toll and left him stranded in the cold. I swear I saw myself in the way he spoke of love, Like it wasn't there at all Like it bent and broke his soul And in the way he spoke so slow. A loner in his own mind, but a coward to the rest of the world. I feel like I'm a child who's lost out in the wild Afraid to go to sleep, for the monsters are by his side. So I'll build myself a home out of confidence and hope And pray that all my fears won't break it down. I left him feeling rather small But as I walked along the walls I saw a man who had it all His eyes were focused, calm and proud He has a dream that fills his soul, a love that he can call his own A simple happiness that holds I swear I saw myself in the way he drank in love, Like a hungry child born Like the warmth beyond the storm And in the way they danced so slow. A dreamer in his own mind, but a leader to the rest of the world. I feel like I'm a child who's lost out in the wild Afraid to go to sleep, for the monsters are by his side. So I'll build myself a home out of confidence and hope And pray that all my fears won't break it down. I don't feel your love is real So it's fitting that you go, though it's sad to watch your leave. And it has taken its toll, but now it's nothing but a dream. I'll see you around...

I was bloated at the bottom of a wishing well Dreaming down where the aphids were cherubim Where, euphotic, there were blossoms for the chapel bells I lay naming the thrushes beyond its rim In the punch-drunk dawn, sprawled on someone's lawn, I'll meet you there I got smaller and smaller and smaller and then disappeared In the camera lens of a next of kin In the glaucous embalming me augurs i thought I could hear Made me laugh to myself as the brack rushed in If it all goes up in a raptured shrug, you should know: I was ugly once, now I'm washed in blood I can't take you with me, though Oh what a can of worms for a bleeding heart If a car-crash kills me, I'll be on the shores of time with a pack of cards Til the hourglass calls you back to my arms And we loved with a love that was sort of love On a precipice Til our eyes rolled back, something finally snapped, And we slow-danced right off of it Oh what a can of worms for a bleeding heart If a car-crash kills me I'll be on the shores of time with a pack of cards Til the hourglass calls you back to my arms Oh. in a ray of light I was swimming up to the bottom softly as I was Oh, in a ray of light through the moss and stones to the bottom softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly softly

Silhouettes of houses on computer screens while anxiously Awaiting summer's confidence to fill a dream surrounding me. Sheets of red through corridors, your eyes of green exposing me. So have another glass of wine and carry on your beauty. For the messengers of male are taking off their masks and heading home. We've cast away our safety tape to liberate a greater chore. We'll consummate our freedom in a sea of color, caramel foam. A lavender inception constellates a heaven once unknown. Baby I caught you crystallizing on my windowpane. I'm realizing when I close my eyes, you are so damn hard to find. Silks of white and cuffs of black, how conversation brings you back. The blusher compliments the gentle ribbons flowing down your back. Calligraphy, incestuous, an innocent yet subtle pact. Parishioner euphoria, through icicles your eyes diffract. A little number every day. (Sitting silently) A little dumber, dumb's okay. (Sit in silent fear) A little number, a little dumber Every day I feel okay. So take another shot and watch fireworks explode behind my eyes. Would you stay if I told you that I love the way (Are you headed out) You brushed your hair (Are you past the point of trying) With nothing on (To believe that I was hard to find) God, I'm still there... I convulse and gesticulate at this tenement ceiling. Talking like you're lying here Until your voice diffracts across the year Like a metal can with a string attached. I want to tell you everything. (Sitting silently) I never told you about your silver wings (Sit in silent fear) When I close my eyes, you were so damn hard to find.

A holy terror when I saw you at the coronation. All I could spare you was a wine-stain and assorted wasted words. And when the pharaoh raised his arms above the congregation I felt embarrassed in the sea of solemn faces, knowing I'd not be home soon. My knuckles splayed upon the four walls of the pentatonic With page on page of scribbled epitaph, I never got it right. So I give you eight years worth of gorgeous words. I shied from speaking. Laid out in tasteful orchestration for a choir of demons: groan by bottled groan. Amy I'm a murderer, Amy I'm not worth it. I am gonna break your heart, I'm gonna do it on purpose. Over all I'll almost certainly not be whole soon. The pianola churned a waltz and I got sentimental. These murky polaroids bely how insenescible you are. And when the pharaoh raised his arms above the congregation Right then and there I fell to pieces at the honest grace of gold seraglios. Amy I'm a murderer.....1x Amy I'm a murderer. Amy wanna hear the one I wrote about the reasons you could never get a hold of me? It's short and almost certainly not--we hope--true. Falling off the side of your life, blacking out to saddle your mind--Amy you'd be afraid what you might do, too.
